Born in Gainesville and raised in Broward County, Dr. Kayleigh Sabo is a Florida native. She obtained both her MS and PhD in couple and family therapy from Nova Southeastern University where she is also currently working on her doctoral degree in couple and family therapy.
In addition to being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Kayleigh is also a certified RYT-200 yoga instructor. Kayleigh integrates her yoga training into her systemic therapy work in an experiential way, focusing on creating a space for clients to experience themselves and the world around them differently. Through meditation, breathwork, mindfulness practices, and more, Kayleigh utilizes experiential techniques to help clients fully get in touch with themselves on an emotional, mental, physical, energetic, and relational level. She believes that addressing the self as a whole most effectively helps people fully conceptualize their goals and subsequently make progress toward them.
Kayleigh has worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups, and she specializes in working with adolescents/young adults and their families. Especially with families, Kayleigh works from a structural perspective to help family members address the unhelpful dynamics that they find themselves stuck in and tap into the more helpful identities and dynamics that they are looking for.
More than anything, Kayleigh believes that people inherently have the resources within them to work through their problems or to simply grow as a person. Her role is to provide new ways for clients to access these strengths and abilities and guide clients in exploring these more preferred ways of being.
