Dr. Vanessa Bibliowicz

Dr. Vanessa Bibliowicz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) practicing in the state of Florida. Born and raised in Colombia until the age of 12, Vanessa later pursued her academic passions in the U.S., earning a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Miami and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She further expanded her academic endeavors by achieving her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the same institution. A significant portion of Vanessa's doctoral research was dedicated to the pioneering field of psychedelic integration therapy, reflecting her interest in innovative therapeutic approaches.

With extensive experience across diverse settings, Vanessa has provided therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families. Her past tenure in the Broward School System saw her offering vital crisis intervention, assessment, and therapy to at-risk children and young adults. Vanessa is also certified in Equine Therapy — a unique modality that harnesses the healing power of horses to draw parallels between life challenges and experiences in the barn.

Throughout her professional journey, Vanessa has shown a particular affinity for working with couples, firmly believing in the ripple effect of a harmonious relationship on the broader family unit. She has adeptly addressed a myriad of emotional and relationship challenges, including sex therapy, infidelity, family conflict, divorce, re-unification therapy, and transitions like becoming new parents.

At the heart of Vanessa's practice is a philosophy that the quality of our relationships is intrinsically linked to the quality of our lives. She cherishes the bonds formed with her clients, recognizing the therapist-client relationship as pivotal for fostering positive change. This therapeutic bond is fortified by her unwavering acceptance and respect for each individual she works with.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Vanessa’s multicultural background enriches her therapeutic approach. Her personal life, too, provides a foundation for her work; she is a mother to three children and is married, considering her family her most insightful teachers.

In Vanessa's own words: “Everyone encounters challenging life moments. However, I'm consistently inspired by those who, despite overwhelming adversities, harness resilience to empower themselves and find growth. They remind us that even our most painful experiences can be transformational. I urge everyone to stay curious about their surroundings and remain open to seizing opportunities that could be the very thing they’ve been seeking.”
